Just a little hug for your mug, and who doesn’t love that!? In celebration of National Granny Square day, this is my first mug hugger design, but certainly won’t be my last! I whipped up both of my mug huggers in an hour or so. So speedy you can make a ton, making them perfect for gift giving or craft shows! I used scrap yarn from other projects for my mug huggers, but I won’t tell if you purchase something special just for your project! Happy crocheting and stay cozy!

What you need to know:
Chain
Double Crochet
Half Double Crochet
Slip Stitch
Yarn Over

Any worsted (4 weight) yarn approx. 20 yds total
5.0mm hook
2 - 3/4 inch buttons
Scissors
Tapestry Needle
