Making this winter hat is similar to making origami balloons - a flat sheet a folded up and into a cube.

The hat is made with 2 granny squares joined at 3 sides as the side and top of the head, and added edges, then, folded up to a hat.

The 2 motifs are joined by “join as you go” method.
While working on last round of motif, it’ll be connected to the next motifs. So, there is no seaming work at all.

It is very simple construction and the hat has a lot of charms as a retro style chic design.
