Granny Squares and Strips Shawl
** Please note: pattern is written in English **
This is a digital pattern for a shawl made out of granny squares and granny stripes, and joined as you go (explained in the pattern).
I used a yarn cake to make this shawl and I enjoyed seeing all the color repeats. You could also use yarn leftovers to make this shawl.
This 10-page pattern has written instructions, pictures and a diagram and the parts of the shawl are joined as you go, so there is no sewing involved! Then a simple border is added and your shawl is ready to wear!
This works up very quickly so it would be a lovely Christmas present for someone special, maybe your granny ? ;-)
Supplies:
- 1 yarn cake, appr. 656 yard / 600 meter in total
- leftover yarn for the border
- Crochet hook 5,5 mm
Stitches used: slip stitch, chain, single crochet, double crochet (US crochet terms are used in this pattern).
Please note:
This is my own design. Sale, change and publication of this pattern (incl. translation into other languages) are prohibited. You are allowed to sell finished items in small quantities. Thank you!
