The Granny Square Cowl is a new design first used as the project for a weekend workshop in October 2023.

This lovely cowl is made up from 4 types of crochet square motifs:
Cluster Wheel - large and mini and Granny Square - large and mini.

There are 3 different colour ways of the mini squares and 2 different colour ways for the large squares. The squares are joined together using treble stripes and bobble stripes.

The pattern has written instructions only, there are no charts but there is diagram of the layout of the squares and joining stripes.

Yarn needed: Marie Wallin British Breeds, 1 x 25g ball of each of the following colours:

Storm, Silver Birch, Bay de Nil, Mallard, Ocean, Quince, Willow, Dahlia, Acer, Pale Oak, Dark Apple, Walnut, Blossom, Foxglove, Rose, Wood, Russet.

Tension:
Large Cluster Wheel and Large Granny Square motifs measures 8cm x 8cm each.
Mini Cluster Wheel and Mini Granny Square motifs measure 5cm x 5cm each.

Size: One size only: 42cm (16.5 in) wide x 24cm (9.5 in) deep - folded and joined in the round.
