The pattern is written in U.S. terms. Using a 6mm hook will be approx. 77cm high & 64cm wide.
I use stylecraft special aran yarn but any aran yarn is suitable. Gauge is not important
It looks gorgeous on a car seat or pram. why not add an applique for that custom look
