Granny Two Ways American Girl Hat
This listing is for two American Girl Crochet Hat Patterns, Style A and Style B.
These two hats are a play on the granny stitch done two ways.
Style A is a snug fitting hat with a sweet and simple picot boarder. This hat is great for children at play because it hugs the doll’s head so that during play the hat does not fall off.
Style B is a fitted hat with a shell brim board and can be worn two ways. Wear the shells down for a more vintage retro feel. Fold the shells upward and out for a summer hat that keeps the sun out of your doll’s eyes.
These hats work up so easy that my 8 year old was able to make them both and she is a beginner with crocheting. :) You can see my blog post with photos of the hat my daughter did from this pattern here: http://createbellacreate.blogspot.com/2012/04/crocheting-...
Perfect for gifts for holidays and birthdays and work up fast enough that you could make them to give out as party favors for your doll lover’s next birthday party.
