Granny Water Bottle Sling
This water bottle sling is worked from the bottom up, in two pieces, the base/body and the strap. If you are familiar with granny stitch/afghan stitch this pattern works up easily! I used K+C cotton lurex, but all yarn suggestions are just suggestions. The cotton lurex is quite eye catching out in public though, and will get lots of compliments!
This fits water bottles with a 3” or less base, and the body measures 9” when pressed flat. If you want to fit this for a shorter water bottle, leave off 2-4 rows from rows 13-33. The strap can be adjusted by leaving off rows, or adding rows.
A stitch marker is helpful, but not necessary!
This pattern uses about a third of one K+C skein, about 100-150 yards.
