I used Steel Crochet hooks size 0 and 00 for this pattern.

However, you may use the size thread/yarn, hook, number of rounds and color variations that you choose. That is why I like this pattern . . it is VERY adaptable.

I used three charms that I bought on eBay (search tibet silver charms) on the top two bookmarks. The bottom is for Christmas, so I used jingle bells. I think the following would also work nice.

1. mini-Christmas ornament available during the holiday season
2. silk or artificial flowers.
3. any small items that you would like to use.
