Granny's Little Baby Blanket
It’s no secret that I love granny squares. So, when I was faced with the prospect of making baby blankets for a set of triplets, I immediately thought of all the fun I could have with grannies!
This simple, versatile baby blanket makes the perfect gift for any newborn on your baby shower list! A wonderful take-along project, the granny square construction offers simplicity and portability for the busy crocheter. With five rounds to each square, the possibilities for color combinations are endless. The simple single crochet edging adds the perfect finishing touch to a blanket that will surely become a keepsake in the life of any baby who receives it.
The color combinations I used for the blanket are listed below with the main color first, then the color in the center of each square listed next and the middle rounds listed last. They are:
130 Denim/105 Mint/209 Lime
146 Teal/142 Eggcream/210 Bright Blue-Orange
109 Royal/104 Lemon/301 Blue with flecks
