I created this hat when I saw other messy bun hats but wanted something that looked a bit different. This hat works up really quickly and can easily be crocheted in one evening. It’s great for a last minute present!

The pattern is easy for beginners, as long as you know how to crochet in the round, single and double crochet you can easily complete this project. All terms in the pattern are US terms. The hat starts with solid double crochet then moves into a granny stripe section, finishing with a single crochet trim.

I’ve used 3 different colours for this project but you can use as many as you like, it’s great for using up any odd ends of yarn you might have.
