Instructions are given for this pattern in four sizes 0-3 months, 3-6 months, 6-9 months and 9-12 months.

The shorts are knitted in a single piece, starting at the back, decreasing for the crotch and then increasing for the front. Before joining the side seams the leg openings are worked in garter stitch. The pattern is deceptively easy, there are only 4 rows. It is suitable for a relative beginner.
