This pattern contains two granny square patterns, one with the skull and one with a round center so you can alternate blocks. Finished block size is 9 inches square.

Words, charts, and in progress photos are included to try and make the pattern as easy to follow as possible. However it is still an intermediate level pattern and is not suitable for a first time crocheter. It is a great way to learn to switch from doing rows to rounds and using unusual shapes.

The pictures are using Hobbii Friends 8/8 yarn, and colors with yardages are included in the pattern. This block is also fun using Bamboo Pop yarn if you don’t like doing color changes. It can also be a great way to use up scraps of color from other projects you may have.

This pattern has been tested (with thanks to Judy Hoffacker!), and any mistakes that are still in it are entirely mine. If you find one please let me know so I can make corrections!
