Thankyou so much for purchasing this pattern. Its a simple one for beginners. Using 100% cotton for less stretch, but enough to stretch to hold a lot of groceries. It tends to stretch more downwards than across.
You can chain more to make the handles longer, or shorter for hand held. All depends on what you prefer. I haven’t done it with this bag. But you could crochet a small loop on one of the top edges to secure it to the little Metal handle posts at the register to hold the bag still while you load the groceries in. Or hang your car keys etc from the loop. The possibilities are endless. I also have 2 other bag patterns in my store if you prefer.
