This pattern was originally published as part of the Fruit Salad Crochet Along, but this 6” square can be used in any blanket or afghan.

The last row is set up for a flat braid join, but can be omitted if you choose to join your squares with another method.

In this square, a plain square is made and the grapes and stem are appliqued onto it. A vine is embroidered at the end.
