This pattern is great for charity crochet projects, preemie and newborn cap drives and as gifts.

Designed using Red Heart With Love yarn (from my yarn stash) and a 5.5 mm (I) sized hook, the finished hat is soft and comfortable to wear. You can substitute any medium weight yarn for this design (like Red Heart Super Saver, Red Heart Ombre, Red Heart Stripes, etc.).

I have included instructions for 2 different lengths - to the base of the earlobe and mid-ear length. The stitch repeat is made up of sets of 3 stitches (V Stitch is made up of dc, ch 1, dc) and the pattern can be customized to any size using the ratio of 3.25 stitches per inch and 2 rounds per inch. If  you’d like to make the hat longer add 2 additional repeat rows for each inch extra you would like for length.
