Vine Lace is my favourite of all of the old lace patterns. It shows off the colour variations of the beautiful hand dyed yarn without being overwhelmed.

The body of this triangular shawl is traditional vine lace but the border veers off with a variation of the the same stitch sequence.

There is a generous amount of yarn in a skein of BFL 2/8 - a lovely soft but still woolly feeling hand dyed yarn.
