A little different twist on a classic! Gratitude is a gorgeous rib hat with a more rounded crown shaping.

It is knit from the bottom up, in the round and seamlessly. The crown shaping is done using the Magic Loop.

I used two beautiful yarns held together for my sample for an exquisite gem! But Gratitude can definitely be knit using just one strand of Sport or light DK yarn.

You will need:

Approximately 125-150 (150-175, 175-200) metres/136-164 (164-190, 190-218) yards each in fingering yarn and mohair (held together) or total in Sport or light DK weight yarn

Two 3.25 mm/US 3 circular needles, one 40 cm/16 inches long (for the body of the hat) and another 80 cm/32 inches long (for the crown using the magic loop method)

A tapestry needle and one stitch marker

SIZES

S (M, L) = to fit head size 43-51 (51-58.5, 58.5-63.5) cm / 17-20 (20-23, 23-25) inches

Finished measurements of the hat = 37.5 (40.5, 44) cm/14.75 (16, 17.25) inches in circumference and 26 (29, 32) cm /10.25 (11.5, 12.75) inches in total height (after blocking, not stretched) (shown here in size M, my head measures 57 cm/22.5 inches).

GAUGE
26 sts and 36 rows = 10 cm/4 inches on a 3.25 mm/US 3 circular needle in rib slightly stretched (after blocking)

Un twist différent pour un classique ! Gratitude est un magnifique bonnet en côtes avec une finition plus ronde.

Le bonnet est tricoté du bas vers le haut, en circulaire et sans couture. Le haut du bonnet est réalisé avec la méthode ‘magic loop’.

J’ai utilisé deux laines très douces tenues ensemble pour cette petite pépite. Mais Gratitude peut certainement être tricoté avec un fil simple sport ou DK léger.

Vous aurez besoin d’approximativement 125-150 (150-175, 175-200) mètres de laine fingering et la même quantité de laine mohair (tenus ensemble) ou de laine sport ou DK léger

P (M, G) = pour une tête mesurant 43-51 (51-58.5, 58.5-63.5) cm / 16-19 (19-23, 23-25) pouces

Mesures du bonnet une fois terminé = 37.5 (40.5, 44) cm/14.75 (16, 17.25) pouces de circonférence et 26 (29, 32) cm /10.25 (11.5, 12.75) pouces de hauteur totale (après le bloquage, pas étiré) (montré ici en taille M, ma tête mesure 57 cm / 22.5 pouces).

ÉCHANTILLON
