A friend of mine asked me to design a hat for her Great Dane, Solomon. I asked for precise measurements of Solomon’s head, and used the given dimensions to create a paper mache replica of this giant dog’s head. After that, I began working on the design. It took me a few tries, but I’m happy to report that I’m pleased with the final result.

The finished hat is stretchy and spacious. It is easy to pull over the head of a large dog, and it and features holes for the ears to ensure maximum comfort. This cozy dog hat is entirely seamless! This hat is functional, and will keep your beloved pet nice and warm. This pattern is worked both flat and in the round, and is super rewarding to work up.
