The Great grandmothers poncho is a soft warm poncho that fits all body types and still feels comfortably keeping in place. The poncho is knitted back and forth starting at the shoulder seams of the poncho.

This pattern includes directions for a medium, large and an X-large poncho - the x-large poncho is shown in the picture.

The pattern is written for a knitter with medium skills, a knitter who is able to decrease, pick up stitches, purl and follow a written instruction.

This pattern calls for a yarn with a 10 stitch per 10 centimeters gauge.
