Great Lakes Hat
I named this the “Great Lakes Hat” because its warm enough to keep you toasty while standing on the shore in January! The crown is crocheted in a spiral using single crochet and easy-to-follow increases. Then the cuff is done in back and forth rows of half double crochet. To complete the look the cuff is folded up twice.
Crocheting the hat body and cuff in two different colors or even two different yarns as long (as they are worsted) adds visual interest.
This pattern is suitable for Advanced Beginner or Intermediate Crocheters.
