Greater Than One, Two, Three
Greater Than 1,2,3 contains three versions of a quick little cowl: a mini-infinity scarf that uses a nifty slipped stitch pattern to really show off the stripes of color inherent in a long-repeat yarn. As a bonus, the reverse side of the pattern is interesting in a subtle way, too.
There are two Moebius versions, and one version that doesn’t use a Moebius cast on.
Although designed specifically for Noro, this would also be a fun way to use that skein of cashmere or other luxury yarn.
I love wearing these-no ends to dangle in my coffee, or get caught in a jacket zipper. The lively colors really brighten up my tees and jeans. The fiber keeps my neck warm in winter, and out of the drafts indoors year-round.
Techniques used include a standard or Moebius cast on, knit and purl stitches, slipped stitches, knitting in the round, and binding off.
The Moebius versions require a circular needle that has a long cable (47 inches or so). The circular version can be done in the technique of your choice: double points, short circular, magic loop method on a long cable circular.
