Grebbe is a crescent shaped shawl that can be knit either in solid or in variegated or tonal yarn.
If you choose a multi-colored yarn, the design will bring out the beauty of different colours and enhance it with an interesting texture.
If you choose solid, you will get a classy, elegant shawl that will add style to your outfit.
You can also add beads to give your shawl more sparkle.

Both the body and border sections are repeatable and it is up to the knitter to choose the size of the shawl and the proportions between the two sections. This way you can create a unique shawl of your own!

Yarn - lace to sportweight, depending on your preferences.
My green Grebbe was done with Garnstudio Drops Alpaca, 50g = 183 yards / 167m, and the grey-pinkish Grebbe was done with Lang Jawoll Magic, 100g = 437 yards / 400m.

For both shawls I used 200g and obtained shawls that measure about 100 inches / 250cm wingspan and 23 inches / 58cm depth. The size also depends on how vigorously you block your shawl.

Level - the shawl is easy to knit, not totally mindless but very intuitive with the lace motif easy to memorise. It can be done by a beginner at lace as long as you are an adventurous beginner willing to learn new things (links and tips provided in the pattern).

The pattern is both written and charted.
It was tested and proofread by native-English speakers.

Poziom trudności - chusta jest łatwa do wydziergania, dość mocno intuicyjna, motyw ażurowy jest bardzo logiczny i szybko się zapamiętuje. Jej wykonanie jest możliwe dla osoby, która zna oczka prawe i lewe i chce się nauczyć czegoś nowego (linki i wskazówki we wzorze). Dzierganie Grebbe będzie też przyjemnym odprężeniem dla bardziej zaawansowanych dziewiarek.

Na każdą z chust zużyłam 200g włóczki i obie mają wymiary: 250cm rozpiętość rogalika i 58cm głębokość. Rozmiar zależny jest też od grubości drutów oraz od blokowania.
