Greca Cowl
Greca is the Spanish word for a border details with some kind of design (design strip).
The Greca Cowl is a study on color work knitting for beginners. I wanted to create something simple and fun for knitters who want to learn to knit color work, and came up with the idea of creating a cowl with a very delicate looking design and some stockinette knitting placed at specific places throughout the design to create an eye catching color play while providing knitters with some easy, relaxing sections where you could only focus on the knitting.
This cowl is knit in the round; it uses three colors and can be used as a double loop cowl. The pattern repeat is very easy to remember and you will be looking forward to completing the repeats.
