Potholder or Pot Holder? Trivet? Hotpad or Hot pad? Who knows!

While hers is a lovely (and thick) trivet with a CD in it, this pattern is for a larger, more floppy pot holder with a loop for hanging that is still thick enough to keep the heat away.

For edging zazz, I have added a blanket stitch. Yes the counting could have been better but it works out! Check out the back of the piece, I think it is cute in its own right!

I’ve kept the central patterning (with some modifications), which I think looks somewhat Classical Greek:) If you have any problems with my notation, perhaps look at the trivet pattern for help.
