this is a simple pattern that uses a lot intermediate skills…..keeping track of lace, a little bit of beading, working with a dropped stitch…the perfect summer take along project because each section is long enough for you to get the hang of it before you move on to the next.

You can make this scarf as long or as short as you want…the scarf I made is a total of 72 inches after blocking

because it is a scarf, gauge only matters if you want exactly what I did…if you want something thinner or wider than just add more or less stitches as long as the Feather Pattern is in groups of 4, you should be OK. Any one of these patterns would stand alone very well and be quite pretty with the leaf fringe on one side….play, please play

using a different fiber will give you a whole different look..this might make a wonderful winter cushy scarf….find a fabric you like and fly…lg
