I love knitting the feather and fan stitch … such a simple stitch sequence that creates a pretty look.

This is the 4th in a series of patterns for the 2013 hats for kids project. Green Feathers and Fan was created using the yarn left over from the Staggered Bricks hat.

It’s a loose fitting hat that’s suitable for the little girl who doesn’t like a tight fitting cap.
