Perfect for wearing around the house, out collecting eggs, or pretending to be the Lady of Shalott, this simple triangular shawl is made up of stockinette and purl stripes.

Approximately 25in (64cm) from top to point, 84in (214cm) from corner to corner along the top, and 62in (158cm) from corner to point at the bottom (blocked)

Needles:
I used 6mm (US size 10) needles with a 32-inch cord

Gauge:
Approximately 14 stitches per 4in (10cm) (unblocked)

Notions:
• Tapestry needle
• 1 stitch marker

Notes:
• Knit from the top down
• Worked flat on circular needles

Yarn:
• Any dk weight yarn will work for this pattern
• You will need two 100g skeins, or four 50g skeins
• I used a highly textured yarn, but you don’t have to use a textured yarn if you don’t want such a “rustic” look

The sample I made used:
• Woolberry Fiber Co., Berry Woolen (DK weight, 2 ply, 260 yards per 100g skein, 100% merino wool), in the colorway “Sprout”
• 484 yards, or 186g
