You will get the complete set of both the hat and the arm-warmers in the same PDF file, when you buy this pattern.
Techniques and methods are either explained in the pattern itself, or links are provided that point to web-tutorials.
A big Grazie to Michela LaMicky for translating this pattern into Italian!
HAT:
A light and comfy hat, worked in fingering weight wool with traditional norwegian stranded colour-work but in a contemporary colour combination and slouchy style with an ample fit.
This pattern uses a tubular cast on for a very neat looking edge that has also extreme stretch (it allows the brim to stretch up to almost 35% more of it’s initial size). Keep this in mind when choosing your size!
In the pictures the green sample is a size M and the red sample a size S; both shown on a 55,5cm/ 22 inches head.

ARM-WARMERS:
These arm-warmers are like unattached sleeves that one can wear with all the short or ¾ sleeves that just don’t cut it when the weather gets colder. The good thing about them is that they double as fingerless gloves if worn very low on the hands (for the cold days in the office) or they can be taken off completely without ruining any outfit (if…. it’s very warm in the office)!
The wavy pattern allows for an interesting colour change and it is worked right before and after each new colour is introduced, the rest is worked in Stockinette stitch or simple k1,p1 ribbing.
This pattern uses a tubular cast on and bind off for a very neat looking finishing that has also extreme stretch. You can exchange this CO or BO with any other technique of your choice, just make sure that it is very very stretchy!
