This hat was designed for my sister, also known as “Smart Smurf”. Smart Smurf is green. Why? I don’t know. I don’t think I’ll ever understand. :)

What I did understand though, was that she requested a hat and it had to be warm and it had to be green.

I knew that I wanted it with cables. This is the result.

This pattern is an advanced pattern, and some previous knowledge of crochet cables is useful.
The hat is designed to have some stretch, and will fit most adult heads comfortably.
And it’s great for a short project. Can be completed in one day, and uses only one skein of yarn.
