This is a miniature masterpiece of Matisse’s “Green Stripe. This recreation is the eleventh famous artwork recreation in a series called “Pixel Gallery” using tapestry crochet to create detailed mini masterpieces.

You could use your masterpiece to adorn a tote bag, car mirror or even create a mini gallery of your own. Some ambitious creators have also suggested creating a cardigan or blanket.

This design uses tapestry crochet techniques and has both chart and written form so you can work with whatever format is comfortable for your skill level.

The pattern is written in US terms and is comprised of a detailed 12-page PDF with detailed instructions and many photos to help guide you through making. Skill Level: Intermediate/Advanced. This pattern contains frequent color changes and tapestry crochet techniques. The colour changes in this are easier than some other patterns in the collection!
