Rich, intricate textures adorn these fingerless mittens; twisted ribs and cables combine in the deep cuff, leading into a cabled lattice decorated with triple clam shell motifs resembling berries or buds.

Materials:

  • 1 x 100g of Baa Ram Ewe’s Titus 4ply in shade Chevin.
  • 2.75mm double pointed or circular needles.
  • Cable needle.
  • Stitch markers (optional.)

Dimensions:

  • Length - 29cm/11.5”
  • Circumference - 18.5cm/7.35”

These mitts are worked in the round. Due to the requirements of placing the cable stitch, the pattern is only written for one size, to fit average adult female hand. For a larger size, work on 3.00mm needles. To work a shorter mitt, simply subtract one of the cable repeats from the main chart.

Both mitts are identical and worked alike.

The pattern is a combination of written and charted instructions.

Yarn substitutions: This pattern can be made with any standard 4ply/fingering weight yarn, just be sure to check your gauge first.
