The Greengage is a long scarf with a traveling slip stitch pattern. It has a garter stitch edge which curves in and out following the lines of the pattern.
The pattern has both charted and line by line instructions so you can choose whichever you prefer.

This pattern is suitable for the intermediate to advanced knitter.

The pattern contains slipped stitches, two stitch cables and stitches which change from knit to purl and purl to knit as they are being cabled. Wrong side rows consist of knit, purl and slipped stitches. The stitch count changes throughout the piece as the edge follows the line of cables.
