Greenway Blanket CAL
I have always enjoyed reading and especially reading English books, even when living in Belgium.
As a teenager I was always reading English books and at one point, I realised I had read
practically every English book that was in my local library, including the whole range of Agatha
Christie novels that they had!
Any time there is an adaptation or a film or anything to do with Agatha Christie I would watch it
because I would always be interested time and time again in the same stories. She has such a
way of writing that I really like, the descriptive part of it, the detail, the way the story twists, and
turns, how the plot thickens and all those lovely characters that she designed or came up with like
Poirot and Miss Marple.
After moving to Devon and I realised very soon that actually Agatha Christie’s summer house is
located not so far away, so I went to visit it and we also went to the town close by. We travelled
there by train and steam train and ferry, and I wanted to include this day out into this story. So you
will see all these fabulous sights that Agatha Christie would have seen in the LookBook for this
blanket. I also wrote my own mystery story, all to do with the disappearance of the blanket. Find
out about the story in the LookBook, which is lovely to watch whilst you are creating your
stitches. You will also find the story at the end of the pattern.
