This is a squishy, slouchy, cozy hat worked from the brim to the top. The ribbing is constructed to fit any size head; then the body is worked in the round. The pattern is suitable for advanced beginners with stitch patterns being fairly simple involving half double crochet and alternating post double crochets.

I’ve included pictures in the pattern to help with the above stitches. This yarn in particular makes a beautifully textured and soft hat with subtle color changes. However, any suitable weight yarn can be used.
