I have a big crush on this little cable (sweater, socks, now scarf “applications” LOL). The centre cable is split in two and put at each side, with some broken-rib-type-thing in between. I like the relative proportions of the sections -- totally unintended, of course, but a happy result.

This was made from very soft alpaca and would be a perfect “man scarf” (I prefer “classic” rather than “boring” as a descriptor). “Manly, yes, but I like it too”.
