Grey Heart shawl has a shape of parallelogram and is knitted in stockinette stitch with double nupps (knit out of three stitches) placed symmetrically throughout the shawl. The angles of the parallelogram can be changed (or adjusted) during blocking. Size of the shawl can be adjusted by changing the number of repeats of Chart 4.
Shawl is knitted from the lower left corner, in one piece.

Instructions are both written and charted.
Pattern includes written directions, photo tutorials and stitch count for every RS row.

Required skills: cast on of knitter’s choice, increasing and decreasing, knitting nupps, reading charts(optional).

Pattern requires approximately 900 - 1200 m (984 - 1312 yards) of laceweight yarn.
I used ~ 3,75 skeins of Lamana Premia 60% kid mohair, 40% silk; 328yds/300 m per 25 g skein in 46 (basalt blue) colourway.

Please note that choosing finer (or thicker) yarn, altering number of stitches in nupps and number of pattern repeats, or using different size needles will result in a smaller (or larger) shawl which will affect size of the shawl and yardage requirements.
I wanted this shawl to be light and airy, almost transparent, keep its shape well after blocking, and designed it having laceweight (1312 yds/1200 m per 100 g) kid mohair and silk yarn blend in mind, such as Hasegawa Seika, Lamana Premia, Ito Sensai.
