Greyembers are worked toe up on two circular needles using a magic loop method.
They have a simple but impressive pattern running along each sock’s instep and leg.

Why Greyembers?
There is full blown November outside my windows, and November in my country is grey and dull. I could name these socks November but there are already many designs with this name. September, and December are already taken as well.
I feel that they are all „-embers”, very gray “-embers”, hence Greyembers became the name of my design.

Skill Level: Intermediate. The pattern requires basic knowledge of toe up sock construction, magic cast on by Judy Becker, increases, decreases, short rows and chart reading.
