This one size reversible scarf is worked lengthwise, using a combination of basic stitches : chain, single crochet, half-double crochet, double crochet (US terms).

I chose a very soft washable baby yarn (Cheval Blanc “Babylux”) for this pattern : it resulted in a well defined textured scarf, light and warm.
A different yarn may of course be used, but I recommend that you choose a well defined sport yarn, so that it lets the pattern show well.
Please note that the yardage amount given is a close approximation : It depends on the way you crochet (loose or tight).
If you are used to crochet tightly, I recommend that you use a bigger crochet.
