This is a high neck jumper I knitted for my greyhound. She is a medium female retired racing greyhound weighing around 30kg. Her back from the base of her neck to the top of her tail measures 23.5in, her deep chest circumference measures 29in, and her middle neck circumference measures 14.5in.

It is mainly knit in the round with some flat knitting but I only used circular needles. It’s worked in the round from the neck down to shoulders/chest, splitting for the armholes, with chest and back separated and worked flat until armholes are sufficiently large, chest and back joined back up and worked in the round, then belly bound off, and rump worked flat, with edging finished in the round. Then the arm stitches are picked up and the edges finished in the round.

I used 1x1 ribbing for the neck and edging, and german short rows for the neck and rump shaping.

Needles: 4mm circular metal needles used for rib, 4.5mm for stockinette (16in circular needles to start neck, 16inch=total length from one end of needle point to the other needle point. I also used 38in and 30in circular needles for working flat and working in the round, respectively)
