Chain (ch), Single Crochet (sc), Slip Stitch (sl st)
Working in the back loop only
Picking up stitches to work the thumb

When I designed these, I thought I was being original. While browsing Ravelry one day, I came across a very similar pattern. I read that pattern and compared it to mine; some differences, some similarities. I decided to post mine anyway because I took the time to write it out. It just goes to show you that you need to do your research first!

I have made several pair of these mitts. They work up very quickly and the pattern is a no brainer. You can easily make these mitts longer or shorter and with or without a thumb.

The pattern includes pictures of the finished mitts as well as a few pictures for picking up the thumb stitches.
