The Grid Play cardigan is knitted seamlessly from the bottom up. When the cardigan is complete, it is steeked, i.e., cut open. The cardigan features raglan increases, and its neckline is shaped with short rows.

You can choose either a long cardigan that provides wonderful warmth during the autumn and winter chill - or are you more of a fan of a shorter cardigan? The pattern includes variations for both a long and a shorter cardigan, as well as options for a wide ribbed collar or a narrower neckline ribbing. You can also choose the length of the sleeves: a shorter cardigan comes with a narrower ribbing and shorter sleeves, while the longer cardigan has slightly oversized sleeves with a wide ribbing that can be folded if desired. Changing the length, colourwork, and ribbing width of the cardigan can result in a completely different look! Both lengths feature handy pockets.
