Griddle Stitch Dishcloth
Materials:
Worsted weight cotton yarn in 3 colors. Because I wanted this cloth to be done in tones of grey and white, I had to “yarn hop” between a few brands to get the colors I wanted, but they all came together just fine. I used:
Lily Sugar ‘n Cream Super Size in White (Main Color)
Bernat Handicrafter Cotton Delux in Rustic Grey (Accent Color 1)
Premier Home Cotton in Pewter (Accent Color 2)
6 mm hook (J)
scissors
tapestry needle
Abbreviations:
CH: chain
SC: single crochet
DC: double crochet
MC: main color
FO: fasten off
AC1: Accent Color 1
AC2: Accent Color 2
Dimensions:
This dishcloth measures approximately 9.5″ wide x 9.5″ long. See pattern for more information.
Notes:
1 skein of each color is more than enough for this dishcloth.
This dishcloth uses the griddle stitch , a description of this stitch is posted with the pattern.
