Griddle Stitch Hand Towel
Materials:
Worsted weight cotton yarn in 3 colors. Because I wanted this cloth to be done in tones of grey and white, I had to “yarn hop” between a few brands to get the colors I wanted, but they all came together just fine. I used:
Lily Sugar ‘n Cream Super Size in White (Main Color)
Bernat Handicrafter Cotton Delux in Rustic Grey (Accent Color 1)
Premier Home Cotton in Pewter (Accent Color 2)
6 mm hook (J)
scissors
tapestry needle
Abbreviations:
Pattern is written in US terms.
CH: chain
SC: single crochet
DC: double crochet
MC: main color
FO: fasten off
AC1: Accent Color 1
AC2: Accent Color 2
Dimensions:
This hand towel measures approximately 12.5-13″ wide x 22″ long, see pattern for more information
Notes:
1 skein of each of the accent colors is plenty for this (and the matching dish cloth). See the pattern for more information about how much yarn I used.
This hand towel uses the griddle stitch, I’ve included instructions for this stitch in the pattern.
