Bold and striking, Grille Wrap’s distinctive mosaic texture contrasts dramatically with its Garter Stitch ridges when worked in strongly contrasting colours. Worked in colours with less contrast yields a more nuanced result.

Grille Wrap is a generous rectangle, worked from one long edge to the other then finished with rounds of Garter Stitch, complemented by an Icelandic bind off.

While appearing complex, each row of Grille Wrap is worked in a single colour with slipped stitches creating the striking mosaic design.
