So, I wanted to make a fan art crocheted item again, but I wanted to go simple this time. Then I started listening to The Unexpectables. The Unexpectables is a D&D podcast/livestream. Gripples is a little penguin statue that can explode the party’s enemies, and fit the bill for this. Only one colour needed, slap on some fabric paint for eyes, good to go.

Gripples was made in continuous rounds for each piece, and then was sewn together. I’ll be honest, I got a bit lazy with the eyes. If you would rather do something else for the eyes, go for it.
