This pattern is simple to follow, great for beginners that want to try something different. And use two stranded knitting.
A 40 X 20 throw rug uses approx. 124 regular sized grocery bags.
I used two different colors of Craft cord Red and Beige. Of each color 1.5 skeins were used. (I purchased 2 skeins of each color 4 total)
