All of my appliques are crocheted with cotton 6 strand embroidery thread unless stated.

The following supplies will be needed to crochet Groot.
You will need 5 skeins of embroidery thread. Two skeins of brown embroidery thread, and 1 skein each of green, black, and white. Recommended Brands would be Iris, or DMC. But you can choose your favorite.
Crochet hook 1.65 MM
Yarn needle
Scissors

The following stitches are used in making this applique:
Chain - ch
Slip Stitch - sl st
Single Crochet - sc
Half Double Crochet - hdc

Finished product is 3 3/4 inches tall
