Designed for all ages, the Groovy Headband is a modern alternative to a hat, an accessory to finish any outfit whatever the occasion from the ski slopes to a trip to the shops. A ‘simpler-than-it-looks’ project which can be completed in a day.

A turban-style headband with a cross-over twist at the centre. The headband is knit in a fancy rib stitch and uses knit, purl and slipped stitches. It is knit in a single piece with the cross-over section completed at the centre of the headband. The cross-over is knit in two halves and then crossed. Full instructions about how to knit the cross-over are included.

Recommended Patterns:
The headband could be worn on it’s own, paired with the Groovy Pocket Scarf or, if you have knit an adult size scarf, the Groovy Mittens.
