This oversized cowl generously covers the shoulders with its short capelet. The long collar features a ribbed turtleneck section that folds over.

A lenght of i-cord can be threaded through the stitches to draw the cowl in further against chilly drafts.

Knitted in the round seamlessly, the fluffy and extra warm brioche honeycomb stitch nicely contours the shoulders. The texture of the stitches is inspired by the buildings and cobblestones of the monumental Grote Markt in Leuven, Belgium.

Knitted with aran or bulky weight yarns. Pictured sample knitted with aran weight at a loose gauge for a soft and squishy cowl, knit it with bulky yarn for a denser, very warm cowl.
