Grote Snotaap is de grote versie van Kleine Snotaap. Ook hij is vaak verkouden, waarschijnlijk omdat Kleine Snotaap hem aangestoken heeft. De witte staarten van de snotapen zijn ontstaan door een allergische reactie.

Snotapen kunnen erg slecht tegen kou, probeer ze dan ook zo dicht mogelijk bij je te houden, veel te knuffelen en ze in warme dekentjes te wikkelen.
